ASBMB Council
The president, the president-elect or past-president, the secretary, the treasurer and nine additional members constitute the Council and have all the powers and duties of a Board of Directors. Six additional members are elected by the membership, two each year, and serve three-year terms. Three additional members are appointed, one each year, by the President with the approval of the Council.
