Advocating for sustainable, predictable and increased funding for scientific research

The basic scientific research conducted by ASBMB members has the potential to one day result in cures and therapies, revolutionary products and commercial successes.

But we, as a nation, have to invest in it — and do so consistently.

The ASBMB advocates for sustainable, predictable and increased research funding to ensure that the nation will remain a global leader in science and technology, produce and retain highly skilled STEM workers, and be prepared to combat emerging threats to human health.
