Glycobiology

June 23, 2020 | Duration: 1 hr 21 mins.

This session presents an array of advances in glycobiology. Speakers share novel insights into how protein O-GlcNAcylation changes with statin treatment and during fetal development; how glycan-binding receptors affect tumor growth; and how cells that were once thought to make their own fucose can also scavenge it from their environments.

The talks in this virtual event were originally programmed to take place as an in-person Spotlight Session at the 2020 ASBMB Annual Meeting.
