Lipids in inflammation

June 30, 2020 | Duration: 49 mins.

Lipid molecules from the diet or from pathogens can drive systemic inflammation which, in turn, can profoundly alter lipid metabolism. This session surveys inflammation induced by a range of stimuli, including pathogens, hyperoxia and high-fat diets, to address the question of how lipids modulate inflammation and vice versa.

The talks in this virtual event were originally programmed to take place as an in-person Spotlight Session at the 2020 ASBMB Annual Meeting.
