BASF: Toward a greener future: Micro-algae production of base chemicals
BASF is looking for new approaches existing in academia and start-ups for boosting efficiencies in micro-algae production and processing towards bio-naphtha or other base chemicals. The main levers they currently see for improvement of economics in the area are genetically modified microalgae, combination of microalgae farming with wastewater streams or flue gas addition; however, they are open to additional creative solutions too. The deadline for this opportunity is May 31.
Bayer Pharma: Ventricular heart tissue samples and linked clinical data
Bayer Pharma is looking for ventricular heart tissue samples and linked clinical data from patients with end-stage heart failure. The deadline for this opportunity is May 31.
Bayer Pharma: Human stem cells from patients with genetically derived cardiomyopathy
Bayer Crop Science is seeking stem cells from patients with dilated cardiomyopathies (e.g. laminopathy or others). The genetic defect in those patients causing the disease should be known. They would also need certain clinical parameters of those patients. The cells are not intending to be used for clinical research and development. The deadline for this opportunity is May 31.
